Terms and Conditions of Use for Mirapix.com.au


Delivery and Setup

  • Free Delivery: The delivery, setup, and removal of the photobooth are provided free of charge.
  • Booth Assistant: A booth assistant will be present with the photobooth for the entire duration of the booking.
  • Package Details: Details and inclusions of your package will be clearly disclosed by Mirapix at the time of your booking.


Our Requirements

For a successful setup and operation of the photobooth, we require the following:

  • A clean, flat, dry, smoke-free area of approximately 3m x 3m x 2m.
  • Access to one standard power outlet within close reach (we provide an extension cord up to 10 meters).
  • For outdoor setups, sufficient overhead protection (approx. 3m x 3m x 2m) to shield from rain, humidity, wind, and sunlight. It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure the venue coordinator is aware and can meet these requirements.


Workplace Health & Safety

To ensure a safe environment:

  • No drinks, glasses, bottles, food, or cigarettes (including e-cigarettes) are allowed inside the photobooth.
  • Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult when using props or inside the photobooth.
  • Props must be handled with care.
  • Leaning on backdrops is strictly prohibited as they cannot support weight.


Use of Images/Privacy

  • By hiring from Mirapix, the hirer consents to the use of images captured at the event on the Mirapix website and for advertising purposes, unless a written request is made to the contrary before the event date.


Failure to Complete Service

  • Mirapix will take all necessary care to deliver the booked package. However, in case of unforeseen equipment failure, liability is limited to a partial or total refund based on the circumstances and the portion of the booking fulfilled.
  • Mirapix is not liable for failures due to negligence, acts, or faults by venue staff, clients, or guests that prevent the successful completion of services.


Travel and Parking

  • A travel surcharge may apply for events more than 20km from our base, which will be agreed upon in writing.
  • Parking fees for the photobooth attendant’s vehicle are the responsibility of the hirer.


Bookings and Payments

  • A $250 deposit is required within 7 days of booking, with the balance payable at least 14 days before the event, unless otherwise arranged.
  • Extended booking rates are $75 per half hour, payable in cash at the start of the extension.


Delays and Cancellations

  • Mirapix is not responsible for unforeseen venue delays.
  • Cancellations more than 30 days before the event are subject to a $125 administration fee. Within 30 days, all payments are forfeited unless the booking is replaced.
  • Final payment is due 24 hours before the event; failure to pay will be considered a cancellation.


Security Statement

  • Our banking details for direct deposits will be provided on your invoice and should not change. Verify any changes directly with Mirapix before making payments.


Postponement and Miscellaneous

  • Postponements are at Mirapix management’s discretion and may result in cancellation.
  • The operator may pause or terminate photobooth use if guest behavior is deemed dangerous or potentially damaging.
